From Orcières Merlette 1850 to the leisure centre: gentle adret, cool ubac and comfort at the leisure centre. As you make your way between the hamlets, take advantage of the sundial at Montcheny to set your watch back.

Depart from the Orcières Merlette 1850 Tourist Office. Climb towards “Queyrelet,” then follow “Maison de l'enfant,” “Piou Piou,” and “Les Huttes” to cross “Les Estaris” with its proud stone houses. One hundred meters after the hamlet, at the crossroads, take the wide track on the left (“Garnaudenqs”) which begins a gentle descent towards “Montcheny.” Cross the hamlet of Les Foures, and at “Les Quartiers,” turn right towards “Les Chabauds.” Then descend to Pont Peyron, Martelle and finally La...

You can cut across after the hamlet of Montcheny to reach the village of Orcières directly. Return by shuttle bus from La Base de Loisirs.
