Ski
Chaillol
The ski resort is open from 22d December 2012 to 24 March 2013
Chaillol is situated at 1600m of altitude at the entrance to the Ecrins National Park. It’s south facing so has lots of sun and the pistes are nicely contoured. The snow is well managed and all the pistes are covered by snow canons.
The area overlooks the rolling hills, hedgerows and fields of Champsaur and just nearby is the village of St Michel de Chaillol – famous for its local jams and conserves.
Relax in the evening and watch the ski instructors torch-lit descents, drink mulled wine with the locals and take part in a range of entertainment during the school holidays.
