Ice climbing

In the Champsaur and Valgaudemar valleys there are over 50 waterfalls, which freeze up in the winter to provide a great variety of ice climbing suitable for beginners right through to serious adventurers! The site at Chauffarel is perfect for beginners, for intermediates the Cascade de la Pisse at Tourrond is a little more committing, and for a real challenge there is the ascent of the Voile de la Mariée.
