Champsaur & Valgaudemar
Champsaur and Valgaudemar are situated in the Hautes Alpes on the edge of the Ecrins National Park, 100km south of Grenoble and 200km north of Marseille.
The Champsaur valley, a beautiful patchwork quilt of fields and hedgerows spread over gently rolling hillsides, and Valgaudemar, a deep and dramatic Alpine valley, often compared to a Himalayan landscape.

A gentle, open valley with the only remaining example of ‘bocage’ the traditional alpine farmers’ field and hedgerow networks, left in the French Alps.
