Paragliding

In Champsaur and Valgaudemar, the paragliders fly all year round! The local microclimates and air currents are great for long distance and the take off points are easy for beginners.

There are four paragliding schools where you can go tandem for a taster, learn how to paraglide solo for the first time or improve your flying technique.

Flying in the Ecrins National Park

An agreement to allow paragliders to fly in the Ecrins National Park has been finalised and signed by the FFVL and the Environment minister. In exchange the clubs provide information to all practising paragliders on how to preserve
The habitat and protect the continuation and reproduction of the many species of birds and animals.
