More than 300 kms of paths with 33 way-marked routes under the peaks of Valgaudemar and 60 routes in the valley of Champsaur, as well as numerous paths and routes in the Ecrins National Park.

Whether you are a seasoned walker or Sunday stroller, you can put on your walking boots and find a route to suit you – a recreational amble or a serious mountain summit, to share with friends and family.

A rich and varied itinerary taking you from the dramatic high mountain environment of Valgaudemar through to the fields and hedgerows of Champsaur.

At the heart of the Ecrins National Park you can explore the abundance and diversity of flora and fauna: chamois, marmottes, eagles, orange lilies...

The refuges

The network of mountain refuges provide the perfect resting places along your trek, allowing you to walk right up in to the high mountains. Known for their warm and friendly welcome, the refuges are also ambassadors of the environment and will expect you to respect and appreciate it too!
